Signature-Prints fingerprint jewellery can be worn and enjoyed every day or kept as a special keepsake.  All of our pieces will make a wonderfully personal gift for friends and family and you can also have a short message hand enscribed on the reverse of larger pendants, dogtags and keyrings.

The Process & Materials 

The fingerprint is captured using our 'magic compound' either at our studio, your home or by post.  The 'magic compound' is a completely safe, extremely pliable substance similar to plastercine which captures all the fine detail of the fingerprint and can be used again to make as many pieces as you like.  We will retain all fingerprint moulds for up to a year so you can have additional presents and keepsakes made at a later date.  

Our fingerprint jewellery is made using a special silver clay that becomes fine silver - 99.9% pure - once it is fired.  We carefully transfer the fingerprint onto the silver clay, once everything has been prepared, as silver clay starts to dry out as soon as you start using it.  This method ensures you recieve the most beautiful piece of fingerprint jewellery as we can remake the piece until we are completely satisfied.  Each piece goes through many stages including shaping, enscribing, firing and hand polishing to a high shine - all of which are undertaken by Signature-Prints - nothing is outsourced!  We therefore ensure you receive the highest quality finished piece of jewellery which we are confident you will treasure forever.  

All of our fingerprint jewellery is beautifully packaged in your choice of punk pink or black box, set on a black velvet pad and finished with hand tied ribbons.  We are proud to tell you that as well as being beautiful and sturdy our boxes are made from recycled card.  Our cufflinks are presented in a stylish cufflink box as we found our men didn't want anything girlie and wanted a box especially made for holding cufflinks!
